Strict liability is based on a policy of law that allows for liability without fault. It is only necessary to prove that the injury occurred and that the defendant was responsible for it.
Abnormally Dangerous Activities
In general, one who engages in an abnormally dangerous activity is liable for any harm as a result of that activity even though he/she has taken all precautions to prevent injury.
